Original Mentor & Owner - Justin Williams

Ā

After graduating high school (Union City, OK) as a two-way player, Justin signed with Seward County Community College (Liberal, KS) as an RHP. While there, Justin was selected to the Jayhawk West All-Star Game in 2000. Later in 2000, Justin was drafted by the San Diego Padres.

His playing career was ended by back-to-back arm surgeries (a total of three since high school).

Since coming home in the early 2000s, Justin has continued his education around all aspects of baseball. One of those he is most passionate about is arm care. Justin believes that if he had the information, tools, and tech available to him as a player that exists now, he would have gone further than the minor leagues. He also believes that he could have prevented his three arm surgeries. The biggest problem today is 90% of players (and parents) aren't using the information and tech that’s out there.

Justin has coached youth baseball at the highest levels since 2012. He won a USSSA State Championship and developed one of the best 15U Majors teams in the state. That group is now the class of 2027 and 2026, and several are fielding college offers.

Justin's baseball career as a player, and his hindsight as a 10+ year high-level youth baseball coach, is the backbone of the A.R.M.S. Academy.

"Too many parents don't know what they don't know," said Justin. "Most prioritize winning at a young age and skip the most important stuff. There's not a single win you had last season that mattered the next day, much less a season later."

Baseball development is a marathon, and in a world of instant gratification, parents can easily get off track and end up ruining their kid's love of the game and their relationship with their son/daughter.

A.R.M.S. Academy is here to mentor not only the player but also the parent. We are here to help each navigate through the crazy world that youth baseball/softball has become. We will help you focus on what's important, and we will make it a simple process for you to execute.

We look forward to helping your player become more skilled and become a mentally tough player.
